A dermatological company was sued by three customers after their stretch mark removal treatment had gone awry.
The dermatological clinic called Skin Care Dermatological Clinic Inc., was sued for malpractice along with the dermatologist, Dr. Karen Siena, who supervised the treatment.
The three complainants, Mary Van Hughes, Lisa Maddox, and Penny Fisher filed separate lawsuits against Skin Care at the state court after their stretch mark treatment caused irreparable damage to their skin.
Hughes, Maddox and Fisher told the court that Skin Care did not deliver the promise that they gave them when they went to the company to have their stretch marks removed.
They said that the company assured them that there would be no danger involved in the laser stretch mark removal treatment they offered.
