Four Thirds user now has a great lens called the Olympus 12-60 lens. Olympus can compete with other manufacturers such as Canon, Nikon and even Pentax DSLR camera by offering this particular lens. This is because there is actually little demand for such lenses anymore. A lot of nostalgic forum talk missed having a constant f/2 aperture lens though. My choice to invest in some Olympus gear has much to do with my previous experience with Zuiko lenses from my film days. I can finally have similar specifications from a more expensive lenses from Nikon without spending too much money. I do not want to spend more than I have to on gear that suits my needs. This Olympus lens is perfect in my opinion because it fits with my Olympus E3 DSLR nicely at any shooting situations. The only downside of this lens is the expensive price tag. Just hope for a price cut miracle.
